GARDEN HOUSE DINING

Graced with a mild climate, this sunny California home embraces indoor-outdoor living by providing multiple spaces to enjoy a meal either within the home or alfresco.

The interior eat-in kitchen-dining room opens directly to the Great Room allowing light and air to flow through from french doors located on both the north and south elevations. Furnished with handmade wood furniture from an American craftsman, the dining table is hewn from ebonized black walnut and paired with white oak and tan bridle leather chairs. The space is illuminated by a sculptural chandelier in natural porcelain and aged brass, and enlivened by a large scale acrylic and wax on canvas painting.

The outdoor dining spaces were treated with equal importance and consideration. For the southern courtyard, we designed a custom outdoor sectional and lounge chairs paired with one-of-a-kind sculptural stone cocktail tables. The outdoor dining suite features an Italian-made teak dining table, and mossy green 3D printed dining chairs made from extruded plastic sourced from recycled refrigerator interiors.
