While every project is unique, our process adheres to the same linear progression no matter the scope or scale of work. As changes arise we may return to a previous task or phase, but we consistently apply the same rigor to every consideration.

PHASE 1

DESIGN

1 — Project Kickoff & Discovery

We begin with a kickoff meeting to review project goals, priorities, budget parameters, and schedule.

2 — Concept Development & Space Planning

We document the existing conditions of your home and begin developing space planning concepts to explore layout, functionality, and furniture placement.

3 — Design Development & Refinement

We establish the overall design direction, including material palettes, furnishings concepts, and key architectural elements. Design concepts are presented for review and discussion, and refined based on your feedback.

PHASE 2

PRODUCTION

4 — Drawings & Specifications

We translate the approved design into technical drawings and specifications that serve as your contractor’s roadmap for construction and our instruction manual for product procurement.

PHASE 3

IMPLEMENTATION

5 — Construction Administration

We collaborate closely with your contractor to ensure field decisions align with the design intent. This includes reviewing shop drawings, assessing revisions, and approving material submittals while helping maintain a high level of craftsmanship throughout the project.

6 — Procurement & Installation

Once selections are finalized, we coordinate the ordering, receiving, and installation of FF&E items and support the implementation of the design.
